A Rocky Horror and Shock Treatment Convention is to be held in Manchester, UK, on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2006.
Guests:
- Patricia Quinn (The Magenta, no needs to mention it!)
- Rayner Bourton (Rocky in the original 1973 production of the play)
- Belinda Sinclair (Janet in the play in its first production in 1973)
- Christopher Biggins (the "chubby" Transylvanian in the film)
- Annabel Leventon (the Transylvanian with two party hats in the film)
- Stephen Calcutt (the very tall Transylvanian in the film)
- and Nicholas Parsons (the Narrator in various productions of The Rocky Horror Show in the 1990's), Neil Couperthwaite (Riff Raff in the Big 30 tour of the Rocky Horror Show), Darren Maddison (a phantom)and Gary Shail (Oscar Drill in Shock Treament)
But unfortunately, due to professional work commitments, Sue Blane (Costume Designer for the play and the film), is no longer able to attend the convention
There will be a costume contest, of course and a RHPS Screening on Saturday night, with a full shadow cast performance and all the usual fun and games. Sunday's programme will close with a screening of Shock Treatment.
